This is the website of the OpenVT Organisation (OVTO). Our mission is providing open access tools for virtual road safety testing. As an infrastructure for open virtual testing, we run the OpenVT platform. OVTO is a politically independent non-profit organisation, which originated from the EU-funded project VIRTUAL (European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, grant agreement No 768960).
The VIVA+ Human Body Models developed within project VIRTUAL are the core component of the OVTO’s virtual testing tools. They are hosted and developed on the OpenVT platform, together with a number of other useful open source contents.
The content hosted on the OpenVT platform are provided free of charge under open licences. For a safe and sustainable future in road traffic:
